New Service at Tullibody for Caledonia Youth

 

Caledonia Youth provides a comprehensive sexual health service to young people up to the age of 25.  We provide confidential support to enable all the young people in Scotland to make informed responsible choices about their personal and sexual relationships so that the expression of their sexuality is a positive experience.    

 

Caledonia Youth provides tailor made and age appropriate education and training sessions to suit the requirements of each group.  We also provide tailor made training to parents and all professionals whose work involves or effects sexual health issues and concerns.  Caledonia Youth targets groups and individual young people who would not ordinarily come into contact with sexual health services and we develop, implement and evaluate comprehensive sexual health education programmes for young people with specific needs including learning and physical disabilities and emotional and behavioural difficulties. 

 

Caledonia Youth is for young people both male and female and under 16's are also welcome.

 

Our new satellite clinical service will serve the young people from Alloa, Clackmannan, Tullibody, Tillicoultry, Alva, Menstrie and Dollar.  Operating on an open access basis on Mondays 3-6pm from within the Tullibody Healthy Living Centre, 13 Tron Court, Tullibody. 

 

Clinical services that will be provided include:

 

• Condoms
• Contraception
• Emergency contraception
• Pregnancy testing
• Infection advice
• Someone to talk to

 

Doctor's appointments and counselling appointments will continue to be offered from our High Street clinic in Falkirk.
