MEDICAL STUDENT TEACHING
The Practice regularly hosts Medical Students who are in their final year of training, most from the Medical Faculty at the University of Dundee.
Dr Edmunds, with Dr Macphie as a deputy, is an accredited student Tutor
and supervises the students during their attachment.
All of the Doctors take an active role in the students' attachments to the practice.
During a student's attachment, you may be asked if you mind seeing the student on their own before your appointment with your GP. You will still see the Doctor immediately after .
TRAINING IN GENERAL PRACTICE IS A CRUCIAL PART OF ALL DOCTORS' TRAINING, AND WE URGE YOU TO CO-OPERATE WITH THE STUDENTS IF YOU CAN.
[We do, of course, understand that you may not wish to discuss your problems with someone you are not familiar with, and you can opt NOT to see a Medical Student at any time]
