The Practice regularly hosts Medical Students who are in their final year of training, most from the Medical Faculty at the University of Dundee.
Dr Edmunds, with Dr Macphie as a deputy, is an accredited student Tutor and supervises the students during their attachment. All of the Doctors take an active role in the students' attachments to the practice.
During a student's attachment, you may be asked if you mind seeing the student on their own before your appointment with your GP. You will still see the Doctor immediately after .
TRAINING IN GENERAL PRACTICE IS A CRUCIAL PART OF ALL DOCTORS' TRAINING, AND WE URGE YOU TO CO-OPERATE WITH THE STUDENTS IF YOU CAN.
